On the evening of October 11, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) held a ceremony at the National Convention Center in Hanoi to celebrate Vietnamese Entrepreneurs’ Day on October 13 and present the “Outstanding Vietnamese Entrepreneur – Thanh Giong Cup” title for 2026. Mr. Do Vinh Quang was among the 100 outstanding entrepreneurs honoured at the event.

The “Outstanding Vietnamese Entrepreneur – Thanh Giong Cup” is a prestigious title for which VCCI has periodically selected recipients since 2006. It recognises entrepreneurs with outstanding achievements in production and business who pioneer innovation, fulfil their social responsibilities, build corporate culture, comply with the law and contribute positively to the country’s socio-economic development.

According to VCCI President Ho Sy Hung, the 2026 selection process considered not only business scale, revenue and profit, but also business performance and leadership capabilities over the five-year period beginning in 2021. It also assessed the entrepreneurs’ ability to maintain competitiveness, overcome challenges and contribute to national development.

The entrepreneurs honoured in 2026 lead businesses that generated combined revenue of approximately VND 1.34 quadrillion in 2025, recorded nearly VND 248 trillion in pre-tax profit, contributed approximately VND 97 trillion to the State budget and provided employment for around 273,000 people.

Speaking at the ceremony, Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Tuc affirmed that the Government recognised the business community’s efforts and contributions to socio-economic development, job creation, State budget revenue, improvements in people’s living standards and Vietnam’s standing.

He emphasised that the Party and State have consistently identified enterprises as a core force of the economy: strong businesses make for a strong economy, while business development contributes to national prosperity.

Leadership and management across a diversified business group

Speaking on the occasion of receiving the honour, Mr. Do Vinh Quang said the award recognised the efforts and contributions of both himself and his businesses to the country’s socio-economic development, social responsibility initiatives and community activities.

“The award is also a tremendous source of motivation for me and young entrepreneurs across the country to continue demonstrating our resolve, constantly innovating, thinking boldly and taking action, and actively contributing to the sustainable development of the community, national prosperity and the advancement of Vietnam’s standing on the international stage,” he emphasised.

Mr. Do Vinh Quang currently serves as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Director of T&T Group; Chairman of the Board of Directors of T&T Homes; Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietravel Airlines; and Chairman of Hanoi Football Club. He is also directly involved in the governance and management of numerous other member companies within the T&T Group ecosystem.

During the 2021–2025 period, despite the impact of the pandemic and fluctuations in the global economy, T&T Group maintained positive business results, with pre-tax profit increasing by more than 53% and after-tax profit rising by nearly 39%.

By the end of 2025, T&T Group’s total assets had exceeded VND 40 trillion, while its equity had reached nearly VND 24 trillion. The Group comprised more than 400 member companies and over 80,000 employees, with active operations in domestic and international markets.

T&T Group focuses on seven core business areas, all of which are vital to the national economy: finance and investment; real estate; industry and trade; energy; infrastructure, logistics and aviation; forestry and high-tech agriculture; and healthcare, education and sport.

In his governance and management roles at T&T Group, Mr. Do Vinh Quang focuses on developing cross-sector governance capabilities, connecting investment resources and expanding strategic cooperation with domestic and international partners. These priorities are reflected in the sectors under his direct oversight, including finance and investment, aviation, real estate and sport.

Alongside his corporate responsibilities, Mr. Do Vinh Quang devotes considerable attention to community initiatives, particularly investment in human development and support for younger generations.

He was also elected to the Hanoi People’s Council for the 2026–2031 term, becoming the youngest entrepreneur elected to the Council for that term.

His other roles include Vice Chairman of the Hanoi Small and Medium Enterprises Association; a member of the Committee of the Vietnam Young Entrepreneurs Association for its eighth term; Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Data Expert Network (VDEN); and a member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Association for the Protection of Children’s Rights.

Previously, in 2023, Mr. Do Vinh Quang was honoured in the Master Entrepreneur category at the Asia Pacific Enterprise Awards (APEA). He has also received numerous certificates of merit from ministries, central agencies and local authorities for his contributions to business, sport and social initiatives.

The “Outstanding Vietnamese Entrepreneur – Thanh Giong Cup” title for 2026 provides further recognition of T&T Group Vice Chairman Do Vinh Quang’s contributions to corporate governance, management and business development, as well as his commitment to social responsibility.

It also marks an important milestone in his journey of carrying forward T&T Group’s “Originating from the Heart” philosophy, with an approach that links business development to the advancement of communities and society, and the prosperity of the nation.
