A series of large-scale infrastructure, energy, and urban development projects.
Located on the East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) and with important transportation systems such as National Highway 1, Ho Chi Minh Highway, North-South Expressway, and seaports in the Central region, Quang Tri has many favorable conditions for developing logistics, energy, industrial, and urban service infrastructure, gradually becoming a trade and investment hub for the North Central region.
T&T Group is currently implementing, researching, and surveying numerous large-scale projects in the province, focusing on transportation infrastructure, energy, urban development, and services, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality.
One of the key infrastructure projects is Quang Tri Airport. As of March 2026, the total construction volume of the project has reached over 50%, including the completed aircraft parking area; runway at approximately 46%; passenger terminal at 49%; and air traffic control tower at approximately 46%.
Alongside construction work, T&T Group is installing equipment to ensure flight operations and preparing for operational conditions, including building an operational organizational structure, perfecting the aviation safety and security procedures system, and working with airlines to expedite the opening of routes upon project completion.

Building on the airport infrastructure, T&T Group also proposed developing an aerospace industrial complex, free trade center, science and innovation city, and airport city in Quang Tri province, specifically in the communes of Gio Linh, Cua Viet, Con Tien, and Ben Hai. The complex would include components such as an aerospace and high-tech industrial zone, an airport city, a golf course and commercial service area, a themed park, and functional areas for logistics and support services.
Currently, T&T Group has partnered with CPG Corporation (Singapore) - an international consulting firm specializing in the planning of aviation industrial complexes - to develop a master plan for the project and is coordinating with provincial authorities to incorporate the project into relevant planning documents.
In the energy sector, T&T Group is involved in the implementation and proposal of many large-scale projects in Quang Tri province. A notable example is the Hai Lang LNG Power Center Project, Phase 1, in the Southeast Quang Tri Economic Zone, with a capacity of 1,500 MW and a total investment of approximately 59,000 billion VND.
To date, the project has completed many important legal procedures such as inclusion in the power plan, approval of investment policy adjustments, approval of the 1/500 detailed planning, and completion of the appraisal and approval of the feasibility study report. The relevant parties are currently continuing negotiations on the power purchase agreement and implementing preparatory steps to move towards project implementation. According to the plan, the project will complete land clearance and financial closing in Q4/2026, commence construction in Q1/2027, and begin commercial operation in Q4/2029.

In addition, T&T Group also proposed studying several other projects, such as the Quang Tri LNG project with a capacity of 1,500 MW, aiming to convert from a coal-fired power plant to one using liquefied natural gas; and the Quang Binh biomass power plant project with a capacity of 50 MW. T&T Group aims to deploy approximately 1,000 MW of wind power and 500 MW of solar power in the 2026-2030 period, while also researching the possibility of adding another 1,500 MW of renewable energy to the power plan in the near future.

Regarding the petitions and proposals, the Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee requested relevant departments, agencies, and localities to closely coordinate with the investor, focusing on resolving difficulties and obstacles in the project implementation process. This includes urgently reviewing and accelerating land clearance for the Quang Tri Airport project, while also strengthening communication and mobilization efforts to create consensus among the people in the project area.
Regarding the Gio Hai Service-Tourism Area project, the Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee requested relevant agencies to urgently complete the land lease fee calculation, as a basis for the investor to carry out land-related procedures. At the same time, they should intensify propaganda and mobilization efforts to create consensus among the people during the compensation and land clearance process and the implementation of the projects.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee instructed the relevant agencies to research and advise the Provincial People's Committee on T&T Group's proposals for implementing new projects in the province, ensuring they are consistent with the planning and development orientation in the coming period. At the same time, he requested T&T Group to direct its relevant units to closely coordinate with the province's specialized agencies during the research and survey process for investment projects.
