Cao Bang proposes that T&T Group research and develop a new border gate economic model.

On the afternoon of June 26th, Cao Bang province and T&T Group held a working session to discuss the planning and development orientation of the Tra Linh border gate, expanding cooperation in investment, trade, logistics, and other potential areas of the province. This is expected to be an important driving force in expanding development space and enhancing Cao Bang's role as a gateway for trade.

Leveraging the advantages of border gates to open up new development opportunities.

During the meeting, Cao Bang province shared its socio-economic development orientation and introduced an overview of the development plan and strategic advantages of the Tra Linh International Border Gate in connecting with Baise City, Guangxi, and major economic centers in Western and Southwestern China . This is considered one of the important connection directions for Cao Bang to expand its development space, participate more deeply in the regional supply chain, and create new momentum for border gate economics.

Scene from the working session

According to Mr. Le Hai Hoa, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province, the current situation of the Tra Linh International Border Gate area still faces many difficulties, including the fact that most of the area is agricultural land; the infrastructure for wharves, warehouses, and professional logistics is not yet synchronized; and the import and export turnover through the border gate is still modest compared to its potential. However, this also presents room for Cao Bang to re-plan its development space in a systematic, long-term manner, linked to the Dong Dang - Tra Linh and Bac Kan - Cao Bang expressways and the future border gate connection system.

Mr. Le Hai Hoa, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province, delivered a speech at the working session.

According to the province's guidelines, the Tra Linh International Border Gate is planned with a new mindset, avoiding scattered investment and not copying models from other localities. The focus is on clarifying unique advantages, key product lines, market segments, and strategic investors. The plan needs to ensure the separation of goods and people flows; the formation of a smart customs clearance zone, wharf and dry port areas, and processing and export processing zones; while also allocating space for industrial, logistics, and service development that is suitable to the terrain, transportation, and connectivity potential.

To realize this vision, the leaders of Cao Bang province expressed their desire for T&T Group - one of Vietnam's leading multi-sector private economic groups - to partner with the locality from the research and planning stages, market surveys, and connecting with domestic and international partners, thereby jointly building a border gate economic development model that suits the province's potential and advantages.

T&T Group is ready to partner with Cao Bang to create new growth drivers.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Do Quang Hien, Founder and Executive Chairman of T&T Group, said that T&T Group always pursues a long-term investment philosophy, using planning as a foundation, leveraging the unique advantages of each locality to build synchronous development ecosystems, creating momentum for sustainable socio-economic growth for localities, regions, and the country.

In that spirit, T&T Group is ready to partner with Cao Bang province long-term as a strategic investor; participating from the research, survey, and assessment stages to evaluate market advantages and needs, and working with the locality to propose appropriate development directions and models, contributing to the effective exploitation of the economic advantages of the border gate, expanding development space, and creating new growth drivers in the coming period.

Mr. Do Quang Hien, Founder and Executive Chairman of T&T Group, spoke at the meeting.

With over 33 years of establishment and development, T&T Group is currently one of Vietnam's leading multi-sector private economic groups, operating in many fields that are driving the country's economic growth. T&T Group has been implementing many large-scale projects nationwide, contributing to promoting regional linkages and local socio-economic development, especially in the fields of industry, trade - import and export, smart logistics, infrastructure, energy, aviation, etc.

Notably, T&T Group not only provides long-term investment resources but also possesses experience in developing integrated economic ecosystems, connecting infrastructure, aviation, smart logistics, industry, trade, and services. This approach is also well-suited to the development orientation of the Tra Linh border gate that Cao Bang province is aiming for. With a long-term strategic vision, systematic investment thinking, experience in implementing many large-scale projects, and the ability to connect with domestic and international partners, T&T Group is expected to collaborate with the locality in researching and building a border gate economic development model that suits Cao Bang's unique advantages and the local long-term development plan.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Phan Thang An, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Cao Bang, emphasized that Cao Bang is facing the demand for rapid and sustainable growth, and urgently needs new development models and investors with the capacity, experience, and long-term vision of T&T Group. At the same time, the province also possesses many favorable conditions for breakthroughs, from opportunities for foreign cooperation, infrastructure, institutions, to the determination of local leaders. Cao Bang province hopes to work with strategic investors to design from the outset a unique border economic ecosystem and border gateway, not just a specific project, but a comprehensive development model capable of creating a ripple effect for the entire region.

Mr. Phan Thang An, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council of Cao Bang province, affirmed that the province needs capable, experienced, and long-term visionary investors to partner with it.

"Cao Bang hopes to have pioneering investors who will accompany the locality, together creating new values, not just following a specific project or investing in a specific thing, but forming a unique border economic ecosystem and border gateway," affirmed Phan Thang An, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

Based on that, Cao Bang province expressed its desire to propose that T&T Group research and contribute to the planning process; coordinate surveys and connect with the Chinese market; and explore the possibility of organizing trade and investment promotion conferences between businesses of both sides. At the same time, they requested consideration of establishing a joint working group to regularly exchange information, assess cooperation opportunities, and propose feasible projects.

With a long-term vision, a planning-based approach, and a business-led partnership, both sides expect to gradually form a modern border economic development model, contributing to creating new growth drivers not only for Cao Bang but also for the northern border region.
